Multi-Domain System Modelling and Simulation using Modelica

ISA ASIET Student Section

4 th October to 6 th October 2018

ISA ASIET Student section has organized 3 day Faculty Development program, on Multi-Domain System Modelling and Simulation using Modelica, at AdiShankara Institute of Engineering and Technology from 4th October to 6th October 2018. The Faculty development program was conducted in association with IEDC cell, Department of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation and Department of Mechanical Engineering. The resource for the FDP was provided by Modelicon Infotech private limited LLP, spearheaded by Dr. Sunil Shah who is also serving as current president of ISA Bangalore Section.

The FDP was aimed to introduce OpenModelica language, which is a powerful tool for modelling, simulating, optimizing and analysing complex dynamical systems. The program started with an Intrductory session by Dr. Sunil Shah on 4th October 2018, during which he explained the possibility and scope of Modelica software in myriad applications. On 5th and 6th October 2018, the session was completely hands-on training on OpenModelica handled by Mr.Pavan P and Mr.Rithesh Kumar Sharma from Modelicon Infotech LLP.
